Owner Patty Pfahler originally opened Patina Home and Garden in Wyoming, Ohio in June 1997 through August 2001. “Patina” well suited the painted furniture with a slightly worn finish that it became known for. After closing its doors in 2001, Patty received so many inquiries about her uniquely painted furniture, that she began painting furniture for people in her make-shift home studio. As she continued working in her home, she began to realize how much she missed showcasing her furniture and decided to have the first Patina “home show” in the Spring of 2002.
